Khenpo Jamyang Tsering Rinpoche (Khenpo Katyayana)
Khen Rinpoche Jamyang Tsering (popularly known as Khenpo Katyayana) served as the president of Ngagyur Nyingma Institute, the seat of advanced studies at Namdroling Monastery (Golden Temple), Bylakkuppe.
He is from the first batch of Khenpos (abbots) who completed their training at Namdroling Monastery under the direct guidance of His Holiness the late Pema Norbu (Penor) Rinpoche. He received empowerments, transmissions and instructions from His Holiness Dudjom Rinpoche, His Holiness Penor Rinpoche and His Holiness Chatral Rinpoche. Khen Rinpoche is known for his spontaneous style.
